The Salisbury, Wilton and District fundraising branch of the RNLI covers all of South Wiltshire. We are looking for additional volunteers to help us at our 20+ fundraising events each year.
The volunteers will help us with bucket collections, in our pop-up retail shop in Salisbury and at shows and other events around the region. The commitment is as little or as much as you want.
We are a very friendly and enthusiastic group of around 20 people and our range and number of activities is increasing. Most volunteers help for a couple of hours every couple of months.
We have volunteers of all ages, including many retired people who enjoy meeting the general public and spreading the messag of 'Saving Lives at Sea'. We work very closely with our nearest lifeboat station at Mudeford at the mouth of the River Avon.
