Join Alzheimer's Support's beautiful South Wiltshire memory walk on Saturday 14th September

The five-mile circular sponsored walk will take place within the beautiful grounds of Wilton House near Salisbury. It's a great day out and every penny raised goes to support families affected by dementia here in Wiltshire.

All ages are welcome! Why not get friends, family and colleagues to sign up as a team?  The more walkers who take part, the more essential support we can provide to the families that need us.

Registration is just £15 for adults and £5 for children aged 11 to 16. Children under 11 walk free.

On the day

Before the walk you can enjoy a bacon or veggie butty then meet by the Gothic door at the east front of the house and, after a fun group warm-up, we'll stride out across into parkland. The five and a half mile walk is fully within the estate and will be marshalled so you won't lose your way.

There is also a one-mile route for those that prefer a gentler challenge with a wildlife trail for little explorers. Just choose your route when you sign up.

Post-walk celebrations include music, plenty of tea and cake and chance to relax with other walkers - completing a memorable day.

What you will receive

On the day, you’ll receive a Walk to Remember T-shirt and a well-deserved Finisher's Medal, as well as lots of support and encouragement. Nothing beats the feeling of coming together to do something good for a common purpose! Our friendly team is here to back you up at every stage of your fundraising from the moment you register - just ask if you don't know where to start.

As well as being a great day out, the walk is a major fundraiser for our charity. There is no minimum sponsorship amount but it's always good to have a target to aim for. Just imagine, £36 pays for someone to enjoy a day out in one of our much-loved day clubs in Wiltshire - so you'll be part of something amazing and every penny you raise will make a difference.

All ages are welcome! Why not get friends, family and colleagues to sign up as a team?
