Join us for a relaxed, practical session led by Vicky Griffiths from South Western Ambulance Service, designed to help you feel more confident in responding to health emergencies in your community.
What we’ll cover:
- How to recognise when someone is unwell
- Basic life support, including CPR
- Responding to falls and strokes
- First aid and care for older people
- When to call 999 vs contacting a GP
- Other local support available
This is not a certified course, but a great opportunity to gain useful knowledge and ask questions in a supportive environment.
Free to attend and open to all voluntary sector staff and volunteers.
