We organise events and projects in order to raise funds to provide or improve the community facilities for the village of Upton Scudamore and related charitable activities.
USCA is a charitable body, formed in 2003 with the original aim of raising funds for the village. With no political or religious affiliations, we aim to work cooperatively with both the USPC and the PCC.
About Upton Scudamore
We're quite a small village to the north of Warminster, Wiltshire. Dating from the Middle Ages the village has a population of around 300 of all ages. The variety of ages brings a diversity of interests and there's always something new going on.
Key priorities to maintain and improve our community.
- Improving communications across the village, in ways that will supplement traditional methods (posters and flyers).
- Looking for ways to help individuals and families during the current economic crisis.
- Organising fund-raising and fun events.
- Helping to fund Community improvements, such as the new Bus Shelters being planned by the Parish Council (PC) together with enhancements to the Community Space in St Mary’s Church, working closely with the Parochial Church Council (PCC).
- Welcoming new people and encouraging them to join USCA and/or take part in village events.
The USCA team remain on standby to assist and we very much look forward to seeing you at future village events this year.
