About
Supporting young people with mental health, youth clubs, and street-based outreach – empowering brighter futures
4Youth (South West) is a dynamic charity dedicated to empowering young people and helping them thrive in today’s challenging world. Based in the market town of Melksham in Wiltshire, we work tirelessly to provide vital support and opportunities for young people aged 11 to 25, focusing on their mental health, personal development, and sense of community.
At the heart of our work are our centre-based youth clubs, where young people can find a safe and welcoming space to socialise, learn new skills, and access tailored support. Our youth centres offer a variety of activities, from creative workshops to sports and personal development programs, all designed to foster confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging.
Recognising that not all young people can access our centres, we also run street-based youth work programs. Our dedicated team of youth workers connects with young people in their own communities, offering guidance, a listening ear, and signposting to additional support services. This outreach ensures that we reach those who may be at risk of isolation or vulnerability.
Mental health is at the core of our mission. Our TeenTalk Counselling Service provides free, professional, and confidential mental health support to young people. We address issues such as anxiety, depression, and self-esteem, ensuring that no young person has to face their struggles alone.
Through our holistic approach, 4Youth (South West) strives to create brighter futures for young people, empowering them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential. Together, we’re building stronger, more resilient communities.
