Grant making charity supporting the people of Chippenham

Chippenham Borough Lands Charity (CBLC) is a place-based, grant-making charity enhancing the wellbeing of the people of Chippenham. We provide grants to support welfare, education, arts, and community projects - helping charities, non-profit organisations, voluntary groups, and individuals in need.

CBLC stewards over 70 acres of community green space, including Westmead Open Space, Baydons Meadow and Mortimores Wood. We also oversee the management of significant local assets,  several community facilities and two historic Grade II listed buildings.

We have investments that generate a income for us to use for the benefit of Chippenham residents. We help eligible indviduals with aspects such as food vouchers, training courses, mobility aids, white goods, travel passes, furniture, enrichment and more. 

As a place-based charity, our funding is restricted to helping groups and organisations working in Chippenham, our area of benefit. To be eligible for funding, your organisation must be based in and/or delivering its services within the Parish of Chippenham.
