Supporting carers across Wiltshire and Dorset

Carer Support Wiltshire is a charity that aims to create carer friendly communities and ensure that all unpaid carers across Wiltshire and Dorset are recognised, valued and well supported. We work with unpaid adult carers as well as young adult carers, and young carers aged 5-16.

We work towards a future where:

  • Carers have better health and well-being.
  • Carers can make choices about their caring role and access the right support and services for the person they care for.
  • Carers’ needs, their voices and the contribution they make to society are recognised and valued.
  • Young carers can take regular breaks and be more understood by their peers.
  • Teachers and schools know how to support young carers and understand how their lives can be impacted by their caring role.
