We're a supervised toothbrushing scheme funded by the NHS, being delivered to early years settings across Southwest England.

Supervised toothbrushing is an evidence-based initiative which is clinically effective in reducing tooth decay among young children.

Big Brush Club, a service provided by At Home Dental, is working with schools and early years settings to offer supervised toothbrushing for children every day. We equip staff with all the tools they need to run toothbrushing sessions, as well as provide expert guidance and ongoing support. We also help parents and guardians to understand the importance of oral hygiene by providing lots of support and resources for families.

Tooth Decay...

  • Affects 1 in 4 five year olds
  • Causes 3 missed school days per child per year
  • Is the leading cause of hospital admission for children
  • Leaves children 4 x more likely to develop decay in adult teeth
