Supporting patients with a Burn Injury at Salisbury District Hospital

BUGS is the support group for patients with a burn injury treated at Salisbury District Hospital. We are small charitable fund of the Stars Appeal (fund #1223)

We were founded in May 2000 by staff trained in burn care and an ex-patient. We support former patients too and cross a large regional area, from Swindon in the north down to Southampton, Portsmouth, Weymouth and across to the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands.

We support and encourage patients who have been burned or scarred while they are on Odstock and Sarum wards and as they move out in to the community as outpatients.

We provide practical and professional information, friendship and advice as they move out into the community.
