Chair of Pewsey Community Area Partnership and Pewsey Vale Tourism Partnership
I am Chair of the Pewsey Community Area Partnership, a not for Profit constituted, unincorporated community group. PCAP represents 24 Parishes across the Vale of Pewsey, supports the setup of local community groups and helps to deliver projects to improve living and working in the Vale of Pewsey. PCAP works closely with Wiltshire Council and Pewsey Area Board. We run things like the Community Memory Cafe, Movement to Music for the less mobile and Youth Projects to name a few. PCAP has been around in some form since 2009.
I Chair the Pewsey Vale Tourism Partnership which does exctly what it says in its title. Again a not for profit constituted unincorporated community group with members that work to support Tourism across the Vale of Pewsey. We work with Visit Wiltshire and the North Wessex Downs AONB among others and have ambassador status for The Great West Way project. PVTP has been around for 5 years.
I also Chair the Pewsey Vale Rail User Group which works with the Great Bedwyn Rail User Group and the new Devizes Gateway Station Project to improve rail services for our residents.
