About
We support people who are homeless or vulnerably housed in Wiltshire with practical and emotional help, and by making supported referrals
Homelessness affects more than 1000 people in Wiltshire every year. Being homeless is isolating and often results in poverty, poor mental health and substance abuse. Combined with a lack of access to local services people struggle to improve their situation on their own.
Doorway offers practical support by providing food, showers, clean clothes, regular activities and company. It improves access to local services by making direct referrals to housing, health, addiction and other professionals.
When people experiencing homelessness are offered a safe, non-judgemental and empowering environment they are able to build themselves a better life.
