Small grants (up to £400) for older people in financial need
Friends of the Elderly provides small grants (normally up to £400) to older people who meet all of the following criteria:
Typically things like white goods (fridges, freezers, cookers, washing machines), furnture, carpets, flooring, small home repairs, help with fuel bills and some some other unexpected bills, essential living costs (food, clothes), digital connections (mobile phones, smart tvs, internet connections, laptops). This list is not exhaustive. Please ask if you are not sure. We are here to help.
A Referral Agent/Professional must make a grant application on an older person’s behalf, we do not accept applications from individual members of the public.
Information about how to apply, who can be a referral agent and what we fund is on our website - to view the website, click the link at the top right of this page.
