National Trust volunteering & community lead for West Oxfordshire, on the border of Wiltshire

As a volunteering and community officer, I support Volunteer Managers who in turn support volunteers.

I am based at Coleshill, near Highworth and, if weren't for an old farm building, I would be able to see the Swindon Borough border sign from the office window!

Many of our volunteers come from Highworth, Swindon and Wootton Bassett and our education programme works with several Swindon schools. For the community aspect of my job, I want to share what we have at the National Trust over the Wiltshire border.

We have lots of green spaces, a Heritage & Rural Skills Centre and a great secondhand bookshop.

I also want to find out the local communities wants and needs that we may be able to support.
