A small, friendly tennis club

Seend Tennis Club is a small, friendly tennis club situated in the heart of the village on the Lye field, right next to the Community Centre. There are two well-maintained hard courts and facilities available at the Community Centre. As well as league matches in the season, we also play social tennis all year round - any members are welcome to join in. 

The Committee members are volunteers. We aspire to support and grow this thriving club, which means improving facilities, increasing membership and involving our local school community.

Seend Tennis Club was established in 1924, so 2024 will be the Centenary year and we will be planning lots of celebrations and fundraising to re-surface the courts so that we can ensure that this wonderful community facility is available for us and future generations to enjoy.

We enter teams into the Chippenham & District League.

  • Men's team - led by Liam Bergin (07738 269739)
  • Mixed team - led by Frankie Goddard (07854 660582)
  • Matches are April through to July
