Keen interest and involvement in social/community development and enterprise. I set up (in 2011), and am still Chairman of, UK Community Works www.ukcommunityworks.org - a social enterprise that supports activities to help build stronger, more cohesive local communities; and assists communities to take more control of local assets. We are particularly involved with setting up local community (net zero) housing and renewable energy projects and have been doing so for over 10 years now.
