Mission and Approach
Amber's mission is to empower young people to transition from crisis to independence. The foundation offers 24/7 supported accommodation across four centres located in Devon, Kent, Surrey, and Wiltshire. Within these centres, residents engage in tailored programs focusing on employment readiness, independent living skills, health and well-being, and personal development. Activities include vocational training, counselling, mindfulness practices, and community engagement projects Impact and Outcomes Amber's holistic approach has led to significant positive outcomes. In the year ending April 2023, the foundation supported 240 new residents, with many successfully moving into employment, education, or stable housing. Notable achievements include residents securing jobs in various sectors, gaining vocational qualifications, and pursuing higher education in fields such as law and marine biology.
