Thank you for considering volunteering with us. Your support is so important to help build and maintain our network of friendly, welcoming groups and to reach more families wishing to give human milk to their babies.
Training and experience
We're looking for kind, approachable folk within the Wiltshire area who have experienced their own feeding journey and who have enough time to dedicate to the ABM Peer Supporter course.
Your training costs will be covered and full support will be given as you train and throughout your time as a Peer Supporter. If you already hold an ABM qualification, we'd love to hear from you too.
Opportunities available
Through Wiltshire Breastfeeding Support, we can offer opportunities to support families across Wiltshire in face to face breastfeeding groups. You can find an up-to-date list of current groups on our website.
We are always looking out for new opportunities in other areas, so please let us know if you are interested in group volunteering, whether or not we currently have a group in your location.
There are other very rewarding opportunities to volunteer locally, for example on a postnatal ward, and this will be explained to you when you get in touch.
