What is Wiltshire Together?

Wiltshire Together is a free community platform that connects people, charities, community groups and organisations in Wiltshire to their community.

It is a social network where you or your organisation can register a profile and share activities. You can post a community listing, an event, or a volunteering opportunity.

Other organisations or residents/volunteers can find your activity and get in touch with you to be involved. You can log volunteer hours and connect with other people, plus much more.

Wiltshire Together is managed by a small team of admins working for Wessex Community Action.

Our technology partner Made Open have created this Help page to help you learn more about the features and functions of this online platform. This page includes links to their website, which has more detailed user guides.

This platform is free-to-use and your data will not be shared with anyone who isn't named in our privacy policy.

What are the benefits of joining Wiltshire Together?

It's free.

There is (and never will be) a cost for you to use it. Users never see an advert or a pop-up. We support this platform to give you and the people of Wiltshire a free resource.

Find volunteers easily

Add an opportunity for people to volunteer. We approve it and then volunteers can start pledging. Accept or decline volunteers and log completed hours.

Network with organisations

Wiltshire Together is host to hundreds of community groups and organisations. Make connections with others in the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise sector (VCSE).

What will we reject?

Wiltshire Together is not a business directory for commercial organisations, as we would then need to charge advertising rates (which we don’t). We will approve relevant activities added by non-profits.

How quickly will we approve activities?

We aim to approve activities within 2 working days. Our admins do not work Fridays, so activities posted on a Thursday may not be reviewed until Monday.
