This is an exciting time!
Let’s tackle domestic abuse and sexual violence together across the South West.
Our Volunteer Community Speakers will play an important role in helping FearLess to raise awareness about domestic abuse, its cause, and its services within the community.
Our speakers will attend talks within the community, such as at a local WI group or local church group, and talk about the charity and how we support people. Our speakers will enjoy engaging with new people, be confident in presenting and be passionate about our work.
Each volunteer will receive excellent, in-depth training to boost their knowledge of the charity and to develop their presenting and speaking skills. The fundraising team will provide full ongoing support.
Access to a car is necessary.
Volunteers are asked to commit themselves to be available for 2-6 hours a month. This role requires a degree of flexibility as talks can take place in the morning, afternoon, or evening depending on the group. Talks will be booked in advance.
