Our goal is for all adults in the UK to have the reading skills they need to fulfil their potential and live life to the full. There are 2.4 million adults in England alone – over 7% of the working age population – who can barely read or cannot read at all.
We offer free, one-to-one coaching to adults who want to learn to read via our trained volunteer Reading Coaches.
If you believe the ‘devil is in the detail’ and enjoy working alongside a diverse range of people, then why not volunteer to be a Read Easy Data Protection Champion. You will liaise with members of the Team to make sure that all personal data is stored according to the Data Protection Policy and generally oversee that the group’s records are kept correctly and securely so that more people can learn to read in the community.
