What is a duck race?
A duck race is a fundraising event where participants "adopt" numbered rubber ducks, which are then released into a body of water to race to the finish line, with the "owner" of the winning duck (or ducks) winning prizes.
Important details
To enter the duck race, you will need to fill in an entry form that can be found in a book outside The Thatched Cottage in a plastic bag, put child/adult's full names and mobile number on the form.
Once your entry is completed, place an envelope with the full name of each person entering on the front and £2 entry fee inside, through The Thatched Cottage letter box to keep it safe.
If driving, please park up the top of the road as there is no parking or turning circle down the road.
