Volunteer for The RISE Trust
Volunteer with us and make a difference in your community.
We are recruiting volunteers to support our Family Visiting Service (FVS) in the Wootton Bassett/Cricklade area.
The aim of the FVS is to support families in their home and in the community to: -
- help with feelings of loneliness and isolation
- encourage parents to develop skills and confidence in their parenting role
- encourage parents to access other local services and groups
Volunteers visit families once a week, during term time to offer practical and emotional support. Total time commitment is 3 hours per week. Experience of being a parent is desirable, however full training will be provided.
