We have included some suggested links below*. We can also provide letters or reports to help existing patients update their passport or make an application for a gender recognition certificate.
We can provide psychological support sessions and/or, dependent upon individual need and preference, signpost or refer to a gender specialist psychological therapist.
Psychological support sessions
We offer individual, couple or family (including chosen family) support, for example where people wish to explore their identity and options in a bit more detail before proceeding to formal assessment and intervention, where there are difficulties coming out, navigating relationships and transition, where distress or difficulty in relation to dysphoria has a significant and persistent detrimental impact upon a patient's wider health and wellbeing. Dependent upon individual need and preference we may signpost or refer to a gender specialist psychological therapist or other health professional.
