One day First Aid training for the workplace
About this event
This course is suitable for lower-risk workplaces, higher risk workplaces with a small number of staff and visitors or higher risk workplaces where others hold the full First Aid at Work qualification. It will provide you with the confidence, skills and knowledge to act in a first aid emergency in the workplace but is also suitable for learning first aid skills in general for everyday life.
The course is suitable for new or experienced first aiders and is 100% tutor-led with no requirement for learning outside the classroom.

Qualification Assessment
There is the opportunity to achieve a QNUK Level 3 Award, an accredited qualification. To obtain the qualification delegates are required to:
- attend the full 6hrs of the course;
- demonstrate practical skills for the topics marked with *; and
- score a minimum of 11/15 on the multiple-choice test at the end of the course.
This training is being delivered by Winterbury Training on behalf of Wessex Community Action for volunteers and staff from Voluntary and Community Sector organisations based in Wiltshire.
