This National Hygiene Week, our charity In Kind Direct are raising awareness of hygiene poverty.
1.1m children are currently living in hygiene poverty in Britain. That’s 4 children in every classroom*.
From children not wanting to go to school in a dirty uniform, to teenagers worrying about having greasy hair and standing out for the ‘wrong reasons’, the consequences of hygiene poverty on children and young people is having a detrimental impact on their education and wellbeing, which can follow them into adult life.
By joining their network for free, you’ll be able to access a range of essential products like toilet roll, soap, toothpaste, period products and much more to support your community.
