An opportunity to visit our Day Centre, meet the Trustees and staff and see the activities on offer. This is also a chance to ask any questions you might have about the Day Centre.
The Jo Benson Day Centre offers people a place to come during the day where their needs can be met in a safe and stimulating environment, promoting individuality, creativity and independance.
Many of our members live alone at home, are unable to access the community and may not see anyone except paid carers during the day.
We are now celebrating our 54th year and continue to support adults with a physical disability who live in the local community.
We deliver valued outcomes such as promoting wellbeing, preventing / delaying deterioration in people's physical and mental health, support people to maintain their independance, support carers by providing respite, provide relevant information and ensure people in receipt of care and support have a positive experience.
Activities are numerous and varied from visiting entertainers, group games and arts/ crafts sessions.
