Oxfam Charity Retail - Volunteer – Shop Cleaner – (over 18 Only)

We pride ourselves on keeping our shops clean and tidy and inviting to our customers.
Do you like cleaning and tidying? Then this is a great role for you to help the whole team to give our customers the best experience possible! While making ‘Poverty a thing of the past’.
We'll give you training and support so you can help us to provide customers and donors with amazing service. Creating a clean and safe environment to help us sell loads of goodies each week!
We ask for 4 - 8 hours per week. We can be very flexible around parenting / caring / health / employment / education and any other commitments you have. Some travel and lunch expenses can be covered too. (Please Note: We are unable to take under 18’s at present due to our shops being at capacity with a waiting list.)
If you have a couple of hours to give at the weekend to Oxfam, then we'd like to hear from you.
We want to hear from you if you are:
- reliable and honest
- willing to learn new skills
- interested in working with a team
- Can turn your hand to anything
The Role:
- Cleaning the shop to make it safe for customers and the Oxfam shop Team.
- Cleaning back rooms, helping to keep them safe and tidy
- Hoovering/ Dusting/ washing the floors/ cleaning the toilet/ Cleaning the kitchen etc…...

Our shop complies with Covid-19 guidance and we aim to keep everyone safe with thorough cleaning and welfare procedures. Masks and gloves are provided.
