In September 1940 the Luftwaffe almost devastated the Spitfire factories in Southampton. Production was moved to secret locations in Wiltshire, staffed by the women, childrena and non-combantant men, who built a fleet of spitfires in barns, sheds, bus depots and garages. This is their story!
