Muscular Dystrophy UK is seeking committed volunteers to support one of our most inspiring fundraisers, Phil Grant, recently recognised as Volunteer of the Year for his outstanding dedication. Known for his Wonder Woman costume and tireless efforts, Phil raises vital funds in memory of his son and continues to be a powerful presence at events across the region.
We are looking for volunteers to accompany Phil at events, assist with collections, and represent MDUK in the community.
2026 Event Dates and Areas:
Feb 21 – Swindon
August – Swindon
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Join Phil at events and public spaces to collect donations
- Engage with the public and share MDUK’s mission
- Help manage collection materials and be a visible ambassador
