Salisbury Women's Refuge
This well-respected local charity, which has been operating since 1984, is seeking to appoint new trustees to its Board. We currently provide short-term accommodation for up to 12 women (and their children) who have experienced domestic abuse.
Our mission is to provide a safe haven and to support these women and their families towards leading an independent life. The Refuge has considerable expertise in this area and intends to build on this experience in developing its services.
The Refuge welcomes applications from those who feel able to contribute to its work from whatever walk of life or personal experience.
Trustees are not paid but are reimbursed any expenses.
