Sarum Rotary Club is hosting a Virtual Charity Wine Tasting Event on Friday 7th May 2021 at 7.30pm.
The evening, which is kindly sponsored by Trethowans, will help raise money for our two chosen charities for 2021, Salisbury Hospice Charity and Hope for Tomorrow.
The wines delivered to your home in advance of the event, along with a wine pack which will include tasting mats, scorecards etc, and the Zoom login details for the event.
There will be 6 premium wines (3 red and 3 white) from various regions and grape varieties. These will be supplied “blind” so that you can have the fun of trying to guess what it is that you’re drinking. 100ml of each wine will be supplied which gives you a total of over three-quarters of a full bottle of wine to drink on the evening.
The event will be hosted by a professional wine expert who will guide everyone through the wines and will also run a fun wine quiz at the end.
There will also be some other fun competitions during the evening, including bingo and a virtual duck race. Your ticket includes one bingo card and one duck per person but you can buy additional bingo cards and ducks to help us raise even more money for these worthwhile charities.
Tickets are available as either single or couples. With couples, the same amount of wine is supplied, to be shared, but each person gets their own wine pack with tasting mats, scorecards etc, and one bingo and one duck per person.
