Survivor is a fabulous, bright, airy, high-quality fundraising shop in The Parade in Swindon Town Centre. We raise funds for Society Without Abuse (formerly known as Swindon Women's Aid) with a team of friendly volunteers.
Whether you want to be in the shop helping customers, or behind the scenes preparing goods for display, we need extra pairs of hands.
Retail experience is not essential. Most of our volunteers come in for a single 'shift' each week - usually 4 hours - to fit around their other commitments. We are open 6 days a week from 10am to 4pm.
We receive some wonderful donations so the shop experience is more like a 'normal' shop and customers often don't realise that we are a charity shop.
Our volunteers range from teenagers only with us on a Saturday to gain work experience, or on DoE schemes, through to mums who can only help out in term-time, to early retirees with time and energy to give.
