A Well-City Salisbury creative course for well-being from Wiltshire Wildlife Trust and local artist James Aldridge.
Join Wiltshire Wildlife Trust Wellbeing staff and visual artist James Aldridge for a series of nature walks and creative sessions in and around Salisbury – release your inner artist!
We will embark together on a series of mini-journeys through the natural landscape, following our curiosity and whim to discover the wild spaces around us. Along the way we’ll use what we find, and experience, to create our own individual artworks – all under the guidance of a friendly expert.
This course includes walking outside over moderately uneven terrain. Walks will last 1-2 hours and be of a gentle pace. No previous art experience necessary. The location of sessions will vary.
Free mini-bus transport is available from Salisbury Railway Station.
A optional (but encouraged!) welcome session will take place on Tuesday 16 April, 10:30 – 12:30pm and is a opportunity to meet your facilitator, other participants, and visit the space prior to the course starting.
At the end of the 8-week course there will also be the opportunity to attend a optional (but encouraged!) celebration session on Tuesday 25 June, 10:30 – 12:30pm. A chance to come together and celebrate everyone’s creativity and time spent together.
This course is available for adults 20+. All materials provided.
Well City is a Salisbury based partnership project providing creative opportunities to support mental health and well-being through arts and heritage.
