As the Cost of Living crisis continues and the economic climate deteriorates, the risk to voluntary and community sector resilience and sustainability increases. Rising costs, demand pressures and concerns about recruitment and retention are key challenges being faced by many.
Whilst currently, funding remains relatively stable, the longer-term outlook is still uncertain and inflation-driven cost increases are eating into the real value of income and reserves. Given this outlook, now is the time to plan.
The February Voluntary and Community Sector Forum will be joined by two speakers to share their expertise with you.
John Murray, Senior Lending Manager at the Charity Bank and Jen Richardson, Chartered Accountant and Charity Trustees with extensive experience in working with charities of all sizes will be joining the Forum to provide insights, ideas and options to consider when looking to develop financial resilience.
There will also be the opportunity to ask general questions and share your own experience to develop the collective knowledge of the sector in Wiltshire.
We will also ensure there is time to connect and network with others attending to share information about the activities, services and support your organisation offers local communities.
