Dorothy House Hospice Care is here for anyone facing a life-limiting illness, as well as the people close to them.

Every day, across Wiltshire and beyond, we provide compassionate care that focuses on what matters most to each person - helping them live well, right to the very end of life. Our support reaches beyond our hospice walls, with care delivered in people’s homes, hospitals and in the community.

Behind this care is a remarkable community of volunteers. Their time, skills and kindness make an incredible impact - from offering a warm welcome in our shops, to supporting patients and families, helping at events, driving, gardening, or providing vital behind-the-scenes support.

Whether you have a few hours to give, want to develop new skills, make new friends, or support your community, there’s a role to suit you. Volunteering with Dorothy House is a chance to be part of something meaningful, meet new people, and directly support care that touches thousands of lives each year.
