We recruits volunteers to go into local primary schools to listen to children read.
Schoolreaders is a national charity who find and match volunteers with local primary schools. Volunteers listen to children reading 1:1, supporting them with reading and comprehension skills, as well as helping to develop their confidence and social skills. Our service to schools is totally free!
Volunteers visit their matched school once a week for an hour or two during the school day where they work individually with children to help improve their reading ability and also their enjoyment...
