Walking and maintaining Rights of Way

We are the West Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Our list of walks can be found West Wilts Ramblers List of Walks .  As well as led walks on Wednesdays and Sundays, we have coach trips and organised walking holidays.

In the decade since 2014 we have received grants from Devizes, Melksham and Westbury Area Boards which has been used towards kissing gates and battery powered tools for path clearing and access.

At own expense our Working Party meets every Tuesday.  Currently we mostly do clearance and that could be anywhere in West Wiltshire.  Once a month we help the Council with clearance, installation of gates, bridges or improving surfaces for walkers or horse riders.

Everyone is welcome to join our walks and/or volunteer for our Work Party.
