Windrose was set up in 1984. We are a registered charity. We carry out educational, archival and creative work in rural communities. In the past, we've worked throughout the country but, for many years, concentrated on Wiltshire, Dorset and Somerset. We do not receive regular funding but have developed a long succession of projects which respond to community needs, fundraising for them one by one. One constant has been saving archive films of local life through collaboration with local people....
