We are the non-profit publisher behind West England Bylines, bringing reliable news coverage to local communities with help from volunteers.

For the past five years we've been working on co-creational media at West England Bylines, working with volunteer writers, editors, photographers and more to fill the gaps in local news and deliver national news with a local angle. We uncover the stories no-one else is talking about and we raise the voices of groups that have been misrepresented or forgotten. By giving ordinary people a voice, we help to bring communities together and strengthen democracy. Regulated by IMPRESS, we are a Disability Confident Employer, a signatory to the Refugees Welcome Pledge, the Ageing Better Pledge and the Menopause Pledge, and an official supporter of the White Ribbon Campaign. We're committed to inclusivity and our professional support team helps people from all backgrounds to work around challenges so they can make themselves heard.
