Supporting people and places across Wiltshire and Swindon


Community First manages a wide-range of programmes to support vibrant communities and brighter futures for the people who live and work in Wiltshire and Swindon. All of our programmes and services aim to meet our objectives: connecting communities, tackling disadvantage, encouraging enterprise and inspiring ideas through innovation.

We support the Community Transport networks across the county including Link schemes and Community Transport groups, the Village Halls network, and Local Councils through WALC. Our strong community development programmes and community led housing programmes provide voice at grass roots and our grants programme to communities and business through Leader and Landfill helps places and economic growth.  We support over 1000 young people across the county each year through our Youth Action Wiltshire prgrammes. We also run employability programmes and lead the Building Bridges programme which supports people with multiple barriers to work.
