Friends of the Elderly
About
Small grants (up to £400) for older people in financial need
Who are our grants for?
Friends of the Elderly provides small grants (normally up to £600) to older people who meet all of the following criteria:
- Resident in England and Wales
- Of/over state pension age
- Who are living on low incomes and with little savings
- Who do not fit the criteria for other funders
What do we make grants for?
Typically things like white goods (fridges, freezers, cookers, washing machines), furniture, carpets, flooring, small home repairs, help with fuel bills and some other unexpected bills, essential living costs (food, clothes), digital connections (mobile phones, smart tvs, internet connections, laptops). This list is not exhaustive. Please ask if you are not sure, [email protected] . We are here to help.
