Hello there! My name is Caroline, a self-taught grow your own vegetables and fruit enthusiast and project coordinator who loves organising and managing events for others to enjoy.
As a child, I often found myself sitting on the allotment picking up compost and being fascinated by worms. Today, I channel that inquisitiveness by growing my own food, documenting the yield, analysing and interpreting the results.
Caroline’s MSc Environmental Management and driven research skills into soil amendments, plant varieties and passion for sustainability, combine to inspire members of local gardening groups build their own food security and climate resilience for harvests year on year.
Caroline has written copy for a horticultural society, where she imparts learned skills and knowledge to members, helping them achieve meaningful results in their own gardens that bring about true happiness and positive mental health.
Following Caroline’s BSc (Hons) Environmental Health, she was the project coordinator to evoke a potential change in legislation and local bylaws. Caroline’s strong organisational, analytical skills and team-working brought about many successful public-facing and engaging consultation events. Her analytical skills came to the front, when reviewing the events and identifying areas for continual improvement.
