Scheme Manager

The MHA Communities Swindon team of community coordinators and volunteers supports over 150 people living in their own homes or in residentiual care, as well as 59 living a the MHA Swindon nursing and dementia care home.

We aim to provide that "little bit of help at the right time", to prevent issues such as loneliness, isolation and increasing frailty becoming triggers for the depression and lack of confidence which can lead to illness and earlier than necessary admission to hospital and residential care.

In 2023 we introduced the Collaborative Communites scheme, which aims to work more closely together across all 3 sectors of MHA - care homes, retirement living and our vibrant communities, sharing resources and connecting more people, no matter where they live.
