About

We provide community support to people in Warminster

Open Door Warminster is a voluntary community group, brought together out of the COVID-19 crisis. We recognise that loneliness – social and emotional – has been exacerbated by the pandemic, but it is an existing problem for society with an impact that goes far beyond individual wellbeing.

Our vision is a community where everyone feels socially included and supported.

Our mission is to create opportunities for people who feel isolated to come together in a safe and encouraging environment and, with the help of compassionate volunteers, identify ways in which their wellbeing can be enriched.

We have a drop-in chat cafe for people who feel isolated for any reason and two more groups for people who are dealing with cancer or are affected by grief.
