Provide practical help to the people of Amesbury & Boscombe Down.


We are a local charity where local volunteers provide practical help where required to the people of Amesbury & Boscombe Down.  The most popular form of help is our volunteers using their cars to take those unable to drive or use public transport to medical or social appointments.  Volunteers are paid 40p a mile to cover their costs.  The Link relies on donations from the users and local organisations to pay volinteers mikeage and telephone, insureance and administration costs. 

We also own and run a "Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle" (WAV), a people carrier converted to accomodate a person seated in their wheelchair for those unable to transfer from a wheelchair onto a normal car seat.
