Our vision: Wessex Community Action’s mission is to support the development of thriving communites, where people belong and can take actions on the things that matter to them. 

We have 4 core pillars of work:

• Leaders and Advocates - Across diverse communities. Bringing people together to have a stronger voice and influence, mobilising and encouraging communtiy ambition and aspiration as a connector and 'door opener'. 

• Partnerships and Collaborations - Bringing together networks. Connecting local voluntary and community organisations with strategic and systems partners, to create, pursue and implement opportunities of joint working. 

• Community Development - Practical support. Strengthening spaces and opportunities for people to come together to develop their goals and drive aspirations for their communities.

• Volunteering - Encouraging and nurturing volunteering opportunities. Leading and generating expectation and cultures in which volunteering can thrive.
