Hi I promote music and provide marketing support for music touring in the South West. My main speciality is classical music, early music, jazz, small scale opera and world music. Among the projects I have delivered in Wiltshire in the past are Paco Peña's Misa Flamenca in Salisbury Cathedral - back in the day..... more recently I worked as Director of Marketing at Wiltshire Music Centre , Bradford on Avon (maternity leave cover) where I had a fantastic year in 2022 commissioning their new website and supporting the great concert series and music activities there. I programme concert series in Cornwall where I live but have been active in Wiltshire (and am in Salisbury a great deal) and am open to co-producing, co-working, contract work on projects developing in the south west. I have visiting musicians from Switzerland, Italy and Germany in the current year working on projects for delivery on tour to the South West and I am interested in building networks to support music thriving in the region and all benefitting from sharing resources and touring ideas. I've had over 30 years of producing experience - Metronome Recordings - the label I run has won several Gramophone Awards (next issue out is The Art of Fugue (Bach) performed by baroque organist supremo James Johnstone - and I previously ran the rural touring schemes in Cornwall (Carn to Cove), English Touring Opera (now Birmingham Opera), and for a while Vilages in Action in Devon. I aim to make great things happen...even if only on a small scale.
