Carriage driving for adults with disabilities

 

Wansdyke Carriage Driving Group is part of the Riding for the Disabled Association and offers adults with disabilities the opportunity to learn the skill of controlling a horse and carriage.  

Sessions (when they re-start) twice weekly in Lockeridge and up to 6 participants at a time attend.  Participants have a variety of disabilities but all benefit from the movement of the carriage which stimulates muscle activity and the freedom of being out in the countryside

We are very fortunate that we are able to drive on the quiet lanes and in the woods near Marlborough that offer an ever changing view of the beautiful Wiltshire countryside
