Our therapies

We provide a range of therapies for our members in a well-equipped and friendly environment. Our healthcare professionals tailor programmes based on individual needs, whether you have been recently diagnosed or have been living with your condition for some time. We regularly review our services, taking into account the needs of our members, with the aim of providing the best possible care.

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a neurological condition and auto-immune disorder that affects the brain and central nervous system.

Our bodies use nerves to communicate and send signals. Nerves are protected by a covering called myelin. In MS the immune system mistakenly attacks the myelin, resulting in the disruption of messages between your brain and body.

Over 100,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with MS, which is about one person in every 600. It is nearly three times more common in women than in men, with most people being diagnosed in their 20s and 30s.

The exact nature of MS symptoms will be determined by where the damage is, and it will affect each person differently. Some can lead relatively normal lives with occasional acute episodes, while others will experience ongoing progressive symptoms. Varying progression rates mean that our members have differing degrees of mobility and many are wheelchair users.

What will we reject?

Wiltshire Together is not a business directory for commercial organisations, as we would then need to charge advertising rates (which we don’t). We will approve relevant activities added by non-profits.

How quickly will we approve activities?

We aim to approve activities within 2 working days. Our admins do not work Fridays, so activities posted on a Thursday may not be reviewed until Monday.

Would you like to save your progress?

Note: Saving as a draft means your activity will be available for you to edit in your dashboard.

Selecting delete marks your activity as deleted in your dashboard.
