WCF tackles disadvantage and strengthens local communities by inspiring local philanthropy and supporting the voluntary sector

Through the generosity of local people giving through us, we have grown into one of the largest grant-giving organisations in Wiltshire and Swindon.  Since 1975 we have awarded over £18M in grants to local voluntary groups, charities and individuals all over Wiltshire and Swindon.

We carry out research into local need to ensure our support is targeted where it is needed most. By tackling the most pressing local issues we can help build stronger communities. 

We also support voluntary groups and charities through our Funder+ programme of advice, guidance and training through monthly workshops, training courses, networking events and Meet the Funder days.

We also support individuals through our One Degree More university bursaries and educational and vocational grants and every year we run a Surviving Winter campaign that supports people in fuel porverty.
